I play Euphonium in the Salvation Army Senior Brass Ensemble. I feel priviliged to assist the Salvation Army in their Ministry of Music even though I am not a member of the Army. This is a typical Brass Band of 28 members. We perform at Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Retirement Homes, and some local Community events. |

I play Valve Trombone in a dance band called Garden City Swing. We play at dances, Dinner parties, and Retirement Homes. I play Trombone in the Chief and Petty Officers' Association Band. This is a 45 piece Military Band. We perform at Concerts and other events, in support of the Chief and Petty Officers' Association. |

When I retired I planned to study the piano, seriously, but with all of my other activites there just hasn't been time. In lieu of lessons, I am continuing with my self taught approach, and I play just for my own amazement |

Vera and I like to play Golf and we get out whenever we can both at home and on vacation. Tennis comes first however, and I enjoy the association with my fellow Racketeers at Carnarvon Park, and the challenge presented by some pretty good players. |
